Quick trip to Westbury

We went to Westbury the other day, and the countryside is so dry.  It's since rained a little bit, but we still need lots more.

Cute little Echidna

Very dry along the way to Westbury

Lots of bales of hay with green paddocks in the background which are irrigated.

Potato crop.

Late lunch at Miners Gold - Beaconsfield

We visited Miners Gold at Beaconsfield for a nice light lunch a couple of beers.  We had a choice of 8 beers and I chose the one called Fog on the Tamar, a nice light tropical beer for a warm summers day.

As you walk into Miners Gold Brewery there are all the vats and brewing equipment.

We chose Loaded chips with pulled pork, spicy sauce and sour cream.

New Years Day 2020

After a few busy weeks in December at work we went out for a nice relaxing lunch on New Years Day to the Riviera Hotel at Beauty Point.  This is now my new favourite restaurant.

A lovely sunny day by the river.

Our seafood platter for two.  Yummo :-)

We went for a walk along the beach at Redbill Point.

Then stopped at Seahorse World for a look in the gift shop.

And the Platypus House too.

There were three tugs at the wharf at Beauty Point.

I never get tired of this view.

We moved to Blackwall 16 years ago.  And I never get tired of the ever changing views from our front window. Beautiful afternoon sunset glow...
