We had an amazing time at the Don River Railway Halloween event. It started with a spooky train ride (which was so not scary, but the hostess on board to keep us entertained had spooky stories etc - it was all quite funny, except for the Zombies). Then we went onto the Haunted House - which was too dark to take photos - however it did make us jump a few times with more scary zombies and creatures that crept out of the dark to ensure we were kept on our toes. We had such a great time. 😈
This was the advertisement from Facebook which caught our attention.
They had early train rides to cater for young children,
then after dark rides for the grown ups.

Creepy zombie welcoming us into the Don River Railway shop.
One of the Zombies holding a severed head.
Zombie with severed head.
Then he threw the severed head onto the ground.
Blurry zombies waiting to invade the train.
More blurry zombies.
It's hard to take good photos of zombies.
Then the lights went out on the train and there was a zombie invasion.
OMG this zombie was right outside of our carriage window.
This colourful zombie was at the Haunted House.
We had an amazing time looking after our inner child and hope
the Don River Railway put on another Halloween event next year.
