Redecorating the BBQ area.

I was inspired to purchase some new decorations for the BBQ area, and give it a more coastal vibe.

I'd seen the Jellyfish lanterns in a gift shop
while on holidays last year.

I found them online so I just had to buy them.

The turtle table runner was from the
gift shop on holidays last year.

More of the Jellyfish lanterns.

I think they look great.

Also with new cushion covers.

The table all ready for visitors.

Very coastal.

My turtle with the turtle cushion cover.

And also the seahorse cushion cover.

And the Coral Discoverer sails past home.

Lunch at Burt Munros

We had a lovely catch up with Crystal and Gerrard at Burt Munros for lunch on Sunday.  Always great to catch up no matter what the weather.  And the food is amazing.

It was raining when we went out for lunch.

Gerrard and Crystal.

We all ordered hamburgers of various varieties.

I had the Kansas City Brisket Burger - so yummy.

There are so many things of the menu, it was difficult to choose.

The flowering gum tree next door.

 And the parrots are back.

So gorgeous.

They are such a joy.

Nice Lunch at Bridport

It was a nice sunny day, and there was no wind, as it had been blowing a gale the days before, so we decided to go for a trip to Bridport for fish and chips for lunch, via the Sideling and Scottsdale.

We travelled to Launceston and then through to St Leonards.

Past the Albert Hall.

Through to the Scottsdale turn off at St Leonards.

Travelling along the way.

The St Patrick's River at Nunamara.

Lots of bales of hay.

More of the countryside.

Past Mt Barrow.

Near the Sideling.

Some views from the Sideling.

Lots of Man Ferns.

Tall Eucalyptus trees.

And windy corners.

The view from the Lookout.

Back down the other side.
They have done the road up.

A farmer loading bales of hay.

The road to Scottsdale.

The Eco Centre at Scottsdale.

We stopped at a coffee shop in Scottsdale for cappuccinos.

A field of sunflowers on our way to Bridport.

Fishing boats at Bridport.

We had lunch @ The Bridge

Seafood basket for lunch.

View of the lighthouse/beacon at Bridport.

We went for a walk for a closer look.

The inlet next to the Lighthouse/Beacon.

Heading back towards home along the Bridport Highway.

Over the Batman Bridge.

Views of the Tamar River just along from home
after a lovely day out.
