Hillwood / Dilston
We were working in Hillwood /Dilston for the last couple of weeks. As we work out of a van it's a bit difficult to take photos on the run through a dusty windscreen. But I did try.
On the way to work we pass an old shack with a blue tree.
They paint the trees blue for the
Blue Tree Project for mental health.
We stop to buy eggs as they sell out quickly.
Solitary cyclist.
View of the Batman Bridge.
Driving over the Batman Bridge with a lovely sunrise.
Heading towards George Town.
Loading a ship at Bell Bay.
The Post Office in George Town.
We stopped to fill up with petrol and there was this amazing trike.
Archers Road.
Sheep shed and sheep along Archers Road.
Polytunnels at the Hillwood Berry Farm.
We saw lots of cockatoos in the trees and flying around.
Along the East Tamar Highway. One of the many orchards in the area.
Apple orchard along the East Tamar Highway.
All done and heading back home.
Along the Batman Highway.
Views of the Tamar River.
Some tall gum trees along the way.
Lovely little yacht sailing along the Tamar River.
And we are home.
Happy New Year 2025
We usually go to Devonport to watch the fireworks on New Years Eve, unfortunately work got in the way, so we didn't make the trip to Devonport this time. We spent a quiet evening at home watching movies and playing with sparklers to celebrate the New Year.
Table all set for New Years celebrations.
Should old acquaintance be forgot.
Dinner plates all ready.
Cocktail umbrellas all ready.
Champagne glasses all ready.
Chocolates on the coffee table.
Set for a Happy New Year.
Pretend fireworks ready.
Playing with sparklers after dark.

Easy Christmas Day 2024
We had a lovely quiet Christmas Day with Crystal, Gerrard, Jason and Sharni. I was all organised and only had to dish up and voila, it was all ready.
Our yummy Christmas feast.
Plenty to eat.
Ready to dig in.
Crystal and Gerrard.
Lemon teapot to add to my collection.
Thank you to Adrian, Michelle, Caleigh and Evie for my lovely gift.
Trifle.
Glace fruit on the Christmas cake.
Gorgeous bauble glassware for festive drinks.
One of the wallabies in Sue and Andrews backyard.
I was getting dark and I didn't want to
use the flash and scare them away.
My Clematis flowered for Christmas.
Christmas Beetle on Christmas Day.
The Blue Tongue lizard in the back yard on Christmas Day.
The Cicadas in the tree on Christmas Eve in Travellers Rest.
The Cicadas were so loud. I haven't seen this many before.
It must be a good year for them.
