New Years Day 2026

We started New Years Day with breakfast at Hill Street Grocer Cafe, then on to Don River Railway.  We had a lovely time looking after our inner child with a train ride, then to the Devonport Lighthouse.  I am fascinated with lighthouses and must have been a lighthouse keepers wife in a past life.

Belated Happy New Year

We went to Devonport for the New Years Eve fireworks display, which was pretty amazing as usual.  We spent a few days in and around Devonport before coming home with RSV, and have been recovering slowly.

First stop was to Reliquaire.  One of my favourite shops.

The fireworks were amazing.
We only stayed for the 9.30pm show.
It was getting cold.

Lunch at Burt Munro's

We had a really lovely catch up with Crystal and Gerrard at Burt Munro's for lunch today.  It was an early Father's Day get together...
