Working in Perth

Winter has started early with -2 on a couple of mornings in Perth.  There is still a lot of Autumn colour and it's a lovely place when the sun is shining.

Autumn leaves on the Silver Birch trees.

Lots of berries means it's going to be a long cold winter.

Crab apples.

Banksia Candles.

Toadstools in the lawn.

Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day at home, with Jason, Sharni and Ebony coming around for lunch.  We also had a little party for Ebony as it was her birthday last weekend.

Crystal and Gerrard are currently on holidays in South America.

Watching the sunrise on Mother's Day.

We had a foggy start to the morning.

I had made cupcakes with icing flowers for decorations.

Table all set for our visitors.

I bought a Cyclamen for the table.

Bottle of wine and some cheese and biscuits ready to serve.

Candles on the cupcakes for the birthday girl.

I had a lovely time with my family.
Crystal sent a message on FB for Mother's Day.
Adrian phoned from the UK and we had a lovely long chat.

We have put up a few decorations at home to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

Coronation Chicken for dinner was yummy.

On the balcony at Buckingham Palace.

I took a few photos of the event on the television.
Thank you channel 10 for the great coverage.
I enjoyed the whole celebration, history in the making.

Speedboat Spectacular at Rosevears

We have just been to watch the speedboat racing at Rosevears.  It's a lovely sunny day but a bit on the chilly side, but it was great watching the races.  There were lots of spectators who can along to watch from both sides of the river.  Sitting here at my computer at home I can hear the speedboats racing from Rosevears.

Just a small selection from the many photos I took.

I never get tired of this view.

We moved to Blackwall 16 years ago.  And I never get tired of the ever changing views from our front window. Beautiful afternoon sunset glow...
