Shepherd's Hut on Bruny Island

We had a lovely few days on Bruny Island.  The weather was cool and wintery but it didn't stop us from having a great time.  We were lucky to stay in the Shepherd's Hut on the northern part of Bruny in between Adventure Bay and Alonnah.  The Shepherd's Hut has now been sold and we are hoping the new owner will have it available as a BNB for our next visit.

The Shepherd's Hut.

Tiny bedroom with the bed against the wall.

Fresh bread and farm fresh eggs.

We stopped at Bruny Island Honey to taste test their
honeys and bought this amazing Ginger Honey.
So yummy.

The cosy loungeroom.

Quaint and cosy.

A few items in the kitchen.

A view of the Shepherd's Hut from the Simpsons Bay Road.

Magnificent sunrise as we were having breakfast.

While we were sitting outside having breakfast this
gorgeous black cockatoo landed in the tree right
next to us.  What a wonderful surprise.

One of  the many colourful parrots landed in the tree near by.
