Aurora Australis

So excited, we got to see the Aurora Australis on Saturday night.  We walked to the corner of our road and looked up the Tamar River towards Launceston, and it was just magic.  It started off slowly and then turned up the colours.

AURORA

Heavenly dancers
Grace the sky
Beautiful colours
Way up high
Ribbons of green
With pink splashes
A breathtaking sight
That will blow your mind
Nothing as spectacular
Will you ever find
Flares of green
Of purples and blues
Such an enchanting
Array of hues
They flash through the sky
Like ribbons of light
Brightening up
The dead of night.
