We snuck off early and went out for breakfast at the Harbourmaster in Devonport. The other week when we arrived back in Devonport from the Mainland on the Spirit, it was really early and the Harbour Master was unfortunately not open. So we made a special trip just for breakfast. And it was SO worth it.
The Harbourmaster Cafe Restaurant with the Spirit behind it in the Mersey River.
The Harbourmaster.
We had the place to ourselves.
The service was prompt and we had cappuccinos.
Richard with has coffee, waiting for breakfast.
We both ordered Eggs Benedict with a side of bacon.
So yummy.
The Spirit was in Devonport.
The John Duigan sailed past.
The rich red soil around Devonport ploughed ready to plant potatoes.
Sorry about the blurry window.
A stretch of road on our way back home.
More of the countryside.
Burnt out car on the side of the road.
One of the many huge gum trees uprooted by the storm that went through the other week.
