Bridestowe Lavender Farm

The weather has finally stopped raining, for today anyway, so we went to the Bridestowe Lavender Farm.  The lavender were just showing some colour, but if we leave it any longer to visit, it's just so busy.

Frosty washed his work car last weekend,
so it's been raining ever since.

We had a lovely sunny start to the day
until we took the Spyder out.
Then the sun went in.

A pyramid cottage along Old Bangor Tram Road.

Lovely countryside along Old Bangor Tram Road.

We turned off to go through to Bangor.

Mount Arthur.
If there's snow on Mt Arthur
then it's really cold.
No snow today.

Views along the way.

The entrance to the Bridestowe Lavender Farm.

Inside the gift shop.
They sell Bobbie the Bear tea.

Lavender Tea.

Lavender Fields drink bottles.
They have teapots, cups and saucers
in the gift shop too.

A giant Bobbie the Bear.

A smaller version to buy.

And cute little Bobbies.

The big old oak tree in the lavender field.

A few of the rows of lavender plants.

The flowers are just starting to come out.

A view back to the gift shop.
You can see the giant Bobbie
the Bear through the window.

I'm no good at taking selfies.

Back to the flowering lavender plants.

A view with Mount Arthur in the background.

We enjoyed a Lavender Gin affogatto.
So yummy.

Derelict cottage at one of the
wineries along the way home.

We saw several Santa's along the way.
I took this photo last week at Lefroy.

We had a lovely time at Bridestowe
and bought a couple of little treats
from the gift shop.
