A day in the Dandenong Ranges

We had a lovely long weekend in Victoria, we did a bit of touring in the Dandenong Ranges on the Friday, it was a lovely sunny day catching up with friends and checking out the little country towns.

A lovely day in the Dandenong Ranges

Morning Tea at Miss Marples Tearooms

Too hot to light a fire in the quaint fireplace.

Awesome scones with jam and cream.

Pie in the sky.  Not hungry enough to go in.

Lovely old style buildings in the Dandenong Ranges.

Lovely weatherboard home/shop.

Coombe Winery - former home of Dame Nelly Melba.

We did some wine tasting.

Lots of shady outdoor seating.

Just a small selection available at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie.

A wonderful selection of ice cream flavours.

More yummy chocolates.

We stopped at Napoleone Winery in the Yarra Valley for a refreshing glass.

We had a wonderful relaxing time in the Yarra Valley / Dandenong Ranges before heading into Melbourne to find our accommodation.
