June Long Weekend 2021

Today we spent a couple of hours to ourselves and went to see the Lilydale Falls, the disused railway tunnel at Tunnel, and we were on the look out for Dr. Who.

We have had some rainy weather recently so the path to the waterfall was wet and slippery.

Well worth the walk to the Lilydale falls.

This is the upper level of the waterfall.

Some of the pathway was boardwalk through the manferns.

Then we drove to Tunnel to see the Tunnel.  We walked along the disused railway line.

The date on the railway tunnel is 1888.

View from inside the tunnel with the trees fallen in the background.

A view back to the tunnel with the fallen trees.

Dr Who's tardis in a paddock near Tunnel.

A view of the Batman Bridge on our way back home.
