Devonport to Adelaide

We had an adventurous trip on the Spirit of Tasmania to Geelong.  It was windy and rough with 5+ metre swells.  Thank goodness for Travel Calm, so it wasn't as horrendous as I thought is was going to be.

The sky was dark and overcast and the wind was blowing                                          a gale as we lined up to drive on board the Spirit of Tasmania.

We went outside when the Spirit set sail.  We went past the Goliath cement ship.

The coloured lights on the Devonport foreshore.

Then they turned blue with reflections on the water.

Then it got too cold and windy.

The weather was too bad to take photos when we arrived                                     in Geelong and drove through to Mt Gambier via Camperdown.

We drove along the Coorong Coast Road to get to Adelaide.

We saw swan on the salt water lakes.

The Little Pink Lake.

There were lots of flocks of Pelicans flying overhead at Jacks Point Pelican Observatory.

Majestic pelicans.
