Second of January

We had another lovely breakfast at Hill Street Grocer Cafe before spending the day at Ulverstone and a side trip to Penguin.

Looking for inspiration on how to decorate a Bow Vase,
similar to the one I received for Christmas from
Adrian, Michelle, Caleigh and Evie.

They look very festive with the Christmas tree.

I love the "Sardines" plates and other homewares.

Welcome to Ulverstone.

First port of call is the little Antique Shop - Leven Antiques.

They have so much gorgeous Blue and White.

Then a walk along the beach at Button's Creek.

We had the beach to ourselves.

Strait Off the Boat for lunch.

All smiles waiting for our meal.

Fish and chips and salt and pepper squid.  Divine.

The Big Penguin.

Pirate Ship playground.

The Uniting Church at Penguin.

They were having an open day, so we had a quick wander through.

One of the several 'key-hole' stain glass windows.

The Three Sisters - Goat Island Reserve.
Between Penguin and Ulverstone.
Heading back to Devonport for the night.
