Day 20 - From Peterborough to Terowie

After leaving Peterborough we came across the town/village of Terowie.  Terowie retains a number of authentic and well preserved 1880's buildings, and has been declared a "historic town".  It remains a town of interest to those interested in rail history.  Although now a very small town with few facilities, Terowie is popular for photographers, historians and rail buffs.

Bob the Railway Dog in Peterborough.
Bob travelled on the South Australian Railways system
from 1881 - 1894, and was widely known to railwaymen
of the day.  He is part of the folklore in the area.

Welcome to Terowie.

We had a slow ride around Terowie.
It felt like we had been transported
to another time with all the lovely
