We said goodbye to the Gold Coast today and headed for Coff Harbour. After our yummy breakfast we set off past all the tall high rise buildings, we found some koalas along the way, Rainbow Bay lookout and then over the border into NSW. All of a sudden we lost an hour due to daylight saving in NSW starting, and then to the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour before finding our accommodation at the caravan park.
Back to the water edge to find our cafe for breakfast.
The views are so lovely.
Is that my catamaran??
Tasty eggs benedict for breakfast. One of my favourites.

You can just see the tall buildings through the smoke haze at Rainbow Bay.
Their had been smoke alerts due to the burning of the sugar cane.
Heading south into New South Wales.
Still a long way to go to get to Sydney. We might take a couple of days.
There were a few little tunnels to travel through along the way.
This one is the St Helena Tunnel.

We discovered this little fish and chip shop hiding in the back streets.
We ordered a tropical seafood basket to share,
and it came with a pineapple and banana fritter.
We sat by the seaside to eat our dinner.
The seagulls came to watch.
Heading back to our accommodation at the caravan park as it was getting dark.
I tried to take a photo of the Big Banana at night,
but it turned out really blurry.
