Wow. Where did that time go. It's time to leave Sydney and continue on with our holiday and head to Batemans Bay. We stopped to see the lighthouse at Woolongong and the Australian Motorlife Museum at Stream Hill, near Woolongong. We got to have a ride in vintage cars.
We had time to feed the birds.
Last chance to take photos with Heather.
She was heading off to the gym
Thank you for everything. We had a lovely time.
John got the girls up so we could say our goodbyes.
Thank you.
Bye for now.
See you all again soon.
It was still early on Sunday morning and the roads were clear.
There was a fun run in Sydney today, so took a wide berth and stayed on the quiet roads.
Sydney buildings in the distant background.
Heading out of town.
Train going over the overpass.
As we headed away, there were these gorgeous red flowers
growing the bushland. A bit blurry, we were going fast.
More Gymea Lily or Flame Lily that are native to the Sydney area.
On our way to Woolongong.
Welcome to Wollongong.
The Flagstaff Point Lighthouse at Woolongong.
View of the cannons.
The other side of the lighthouse.
A couple of tankers on the horizon.
Another shot of the cannons.
Back to the bike for the next bit.
We could see the Buddhist Temple on the way past.
We unfortunately didn't have time to stop for a visit.
Next stop was the Australian Motorlife Museum.
We arrived on a club day.
And the vintage cars were on display.
And we could go for a ride in the vintage cars.
So we did.
This one was an open top.
So I had helmet hair and windblown. It was so much fun.
We saw an echidna on the way round.
Next we went in the Austin.
Richard was the backseat driver.
This was the lovely gentleman who took us for a little jaunt.
Back on the road, somewhere near Gerringong.
Over the bridge.
A painted silo on a farm we drove past.
We stopped at Milton for a late lunch.
View from the Cafe.
Yummy BLT.
Going through Ulladalla.
Welcome to Batemans Bay.
Sculpture at Batemans Bay.
Another sculpture at Batemans Bay.

The sun shimmering on the water at Batemans Bay.
The Bridge we travelled over to get into Batemans Bay.
The little jetty at Batemans Bay.
Back to the shops to buy some dinner.
We could smell the chips cooking as we went past.
Fish and chips with potato scallops.
Batemans Bay Cabin Park.
This was our little beach hut for the night.
