We had a lovely day travelling from Narrandera to Dubbo. We stopped in a little town called Ardlethan for breakfast, and continued to Forbes and had a look through the Automobile Museum there, then on to Parkes to see the Radio Telescope. It will be 50 years next year that I travelled this way on my Grade 10 school trip to Queensland.
We stopped at Ariah62 cafe for breakfast. It was a busy little cafe in Ardlethan.
Yummy egg and bacon rolls for breakfast.
Crops growing along the way. Wheat?? not sure.
Sign post of our destination.
Signage for Bland Shire - Wirdjuri Country.
We had been watching these two planes. They caught up to each other.
Lucky to get this photo, we didn't stop to take it and the sun was in the
wrong place.
The Douglas D3 Dakota on display at West Wyalong.
The scenery was so flat, except for this tree of course. You could see for miles.
Wispy clouds on our way to Forbes.

We stopped for a visit to see the Radio Telescope.
We needed a sit down and a cold drink.
