We spent a lovely day exploring Hervey Bay / Urangan, catching up with Dad and Heather arrived. So much to see and do. It's such a lovely place.
The view of the Pier from our balcony.
A cold refreshing smoothie for breakfast.
Plus and egg and bacon wrap.
The tide was out when we walked along the pier.
A Squadron of Pelicans.
We saw a stingray from the Pier.
Plenty of people fishing.
They were catching big fish.
Misty in the distance. You can see Round Island from the Pier.
The little market was on and they were selling beautiful orchids.
Magnificent flowers.
Reefworld Aquarium was on our to do list.
Lots of lovely tropical fish.
I took heaps of photos of the aquariums. This is another picture of tropical fish.
We watched the sea turtles for ages.
There was two in the tank, and you could swim with them or just pat them.
Another aquarium. So pretty.
Dad reading through his scrapbook / photo album we made for his birthday.
I put a sneak peak of the book on the blog on September 8th
if you would like to look through the book.
We had a bbq at Dad and Pam's place.
Just a few photos from that night.
Heather and Dad.
