Today we travelled from Dubbo to Moree. The weather was starting to heat up as we were getting closer to Hervey Bay. We stopped at Gurley for a cold drink and a bite to eat for a late lunch. We had wanted to see the Gurley Royal Hotel which was a 100 year old landmark. We drove around for a bit, not much to see, so we Googled the Pub to find out it had burned down late last year. Okay, cross that one off the list. On to Moree.
We stopped for breakfast at Alchemy Cafe in Dubbo.
We seemed to eat a lot while we were on holiday.
Ham and cheese croissants for breakfast.
Welcome to Gilandra Shire.
They have colourful windmills in Gilandra.
There's even a Windmill Museum.
I took a photo just as a truck went in front of the Windmill Museum
so I had to borrow a photo from Google.

We drove through Coonabarabran.

We had a pitstop so I could take a photo.

Bright sunset as we were heading out for dinner.
Bright orange sunset.
The Rugby semi-finals were on the tv at the Amaroo Tavern.
